Fruits are small or medium-sized, with a slightly flattened shape. The skin is pale yellow with a reddish or brownish-pink blush on the sun-exposed side. The flesh is dense, white or cream-colored, fine-grained, with a pleasant aroma.
The variety is classified as late-winter; harvest takes place in November. Fruits were traditionally used for fresh consumption and for making fruit mustard (mostarda). The tree has low growth vigor, a crown with vertically directed branches, and belongs to the spur-bearing type.
The variety is characterized by biennial bearing and self-incompatibility. Due to its historical status and cultivation specifics, the variety is considered rare and is practically not used in commercial pomology.
