Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a spontaneous mutation of the Jonagold apple. The tree is medium-sized, about 3–4 meters in height, with a spherical crown of medium density. The variety is triploid and self-incompatible; other apple varieties are required for pollination.

The fruits are large, weighing about 200 g, and are round-oval in shape. They are distinguished by a rich ruby blush over most of the surface. The flesh is firm, juicy, light cream in color, with a sweet and sour taste with honey notes.

The variety is early-bearing, entering fruit production in the 2nd–3rd year. Harvesting is carried out at the end of September – beginning of October; the fruits maintain market quality in storage for up to 5–6 months. Resistance to scab is medium, and to powdery mildew is low.
