The variety is a dessert summer cultivar with a harvest period in August. The tree grows relatively quickly and has a regular-shaped crown. This variety is considered the most winter-hardy among the "Astrakhan" group of apples and is zoned for zones I–IV in Finland.

The fruits have an oblong-round shape. The primary color of the skin is white, sometimes with a slight red striped blush. Upon ripening, the flesh becomes very juicy and transparent, with a sweet spicy taste; however, it can become mealy if overripe.

The fruits are prone to cracking in the stem area during ripening. Due to this characteristic, they become susceptible to fruit rot.
