The variety is a chance seedling that originated in the early 20th century in the Hamburg area. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and forms a large, wide, spreading crown with a height of 2.5 to 4 meters. The variety shows good winter hardiness and prefers fertile soils in a temperate maritime climate.

The fruits have a round-flattened shape and are medium to large in size. The ground color of the skin is yellow-green with an intense red blush, which often appears in the form of stripes or blurred spots. The flesh of the fruit is light white in color, fine-grained, juicy, with an aromatic sweet-and-sour taste.

Harvesting begins in September, the fruits are suitable for use until December and are sensitive to mechanical damage. The variety is considered a dessert apple, suitable for making juices, compotes, and baked goods, and is also suitable for consumption by allergy sufferers.
