The Halberstädter Jungfernapfel variety belongs to the winter varieties. Its medium-sized fruits have white, coarse-grained, soft, and juicy flesh with a sweet to sweet-sour and tart taste. The tree is characterized by a spur-type bearing habit, and the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, baking, and cider production.

The Böhmischer Jungfernapfel variety is an ancient Czech variety with medium-vigor trees and a broadly rounded crown. The fruits are small, weighing about 105 g, with sweet-sour whitish, slightly pinkish flesh. This variety possesses moderate resistance to scab and reduced susceptibility to powdery mildew.
