The variety is a natural bud mutation of the Mitchgla variety discovered in France. The tree has medium vigor, is characterized by precocious bearing and good productivity. The variety is characterized by a lower tendency to biennial bearing and requires less fruit thinning.

The fruits have an intense red color with a striped-washed blush. The flesh is juicy, sweet, and crisp. The ripening period occurs approximately 5 days earlier than that of the parent variety Mitchgla. The variety is susceptible to scab and cancer and is intended for fresh consumption.
