The variety is a mutation of the Jonagold apple and is a vigorous type III tree. Flowering occurs in the mid-early period, but due to its triploidy, the variety cannot act as a pollinator for other trees.

The fruits have a caliber of 70/90 mm and are fully colored in dark red, maintaining color intensity even at high summer temperatures. The flesh is characterized by juiciness and a crisp texture; the fruits are suitable for long-term storage.

The variety is characterized by medium susceptibility to scab and a tendency to be affected by powdery mildew. Yield is high, but under excessive load, the tree may exhibit alternate bearing.
