The fruits of the variety are large, often weighing more than 300 g, and have an oblate and asymmetric shape. A characteristic feature is the russeting covering the fruit surface. Harvesting takes place in mid-September.

The variety is triploid and quite resistant to major diseases and pests. Disadvantages include the tendency of the fruits to drop prematurely. The apple tree is popular in private gardens and extensive horticulture due to its adaptability.
