The variety was obtained in 1947 by crossing «Streifling Herbst» and «Wealthy» varieties. It belongs to the autumn maturity group; the fruits are suitable for consumption in October and are prone to wilting when stored in dry conditions.

The fruits have an ovoid or broad-conical shape; the average weight is 90–110 g. The main color of the skin is green or greenish-yellow with a dark red blush; the flesh is pinkish-white, of medium density. The taste of the fruits is assessed as variable and dependent on weather conditions.

The tree has medium vigor and is characterized by early entry into bearing and relatively uniform yield. The variety shows relative resistance to scab and leaf spot with medium winter hardiness.
