The variety is a chance seedling discovered in New Zealand. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and belongs to the spur type. The plant is self-sterile and requires the presence of pollinator varieties.

The fruits are very large, weighing from 300–400 g to over 1 kg, and have a round or cylindrical shape. The skin is glossy, light green with a red blush or stripes. The white flesh has a fine-grained, crisp texture and a tart or sweet taste with a citrus aftertaste.

The variety is late-maturing, of universal use, suitable for fresh consumption and culinary processing. The plant is characterized as hardy to diseases, in particular to scab. Due to the high weight of the fruits, annual pruning of weak branches is necessary, and the thin skin requires caution during harvesting.
