The tree is vigorous, forming a conical crown. The branches have a tendency to become bare, which requires proper shaping. Winter hardiness is estimated as medium, therefore the variety is preferred for regions with a temperate or warm microclimate.

The fruits are broadly conical, yellow-green in color with an intense dark red blush. The flesh is very firm, juicy, crisp, with a harmonious sweet and sour taste. When stored in cellar or refrigerator conditions, the fruits retain their quality for up to 6–7 months.

The variety possesses full immunity to scab due to the presence of the Vf/Rvi6 gene and is resistant to powdery mildew and fruit rot. Yield is high and regular; it requires fruit thinning and pruning to maintain apple size.

The genetic origin of the variety is based on the crossing of Iedzēnu and Liberty. The variety is recommended for organic fruit growing and commercial cultivation.
