Variety description

The variety is a clone of the Gala apple tree of New Zealand origin. The tree is vigorous with a spreading crown and is compatible with various rootstocks. The variety is precocious, requires fruit thinning to obtain a high-quality yield, and shows susceptibility to scab and apple canker.

The fruits are medium-sized and have a conical or round-conical shape. The coloration is characterized by an intense red-orange or bright red blush on a yellow background. The flesh is firm, juicy, cream-colored, and is distinguished by a sweet taste and aroma.

Harvesting dates fall between late August and mid-September. The fruits are suitable for long-term storage: in conventional cold storage until December, and in controlled atmosphere conditions until March-June.
