The variety was obtained as a result of crossing hybrid forms (Golden Delicious × Edgewood) × (Red Gravenstein × Close). The tree is characterized as medium-sized, reaching a height of 3.5–5 meters, with a compact round-conical or oval crown.

The fruits are large, weighing 170–250 g, with a round-conical or oblong-conical shape. The skin is yellow-green with a pink-red blush or stripes. The flesh is cream-colored, firm, juicy, with a pronounced aroma and a sweet-and-sour taste.

Harvest maturity occurs in August. The storage life of the fruits is from one month to 10 weeks in cool conditions. The variety is self-incompatible, serves as a good pollinator for other varieties, and possesses high winter hardiness and medium resistance to major diseases.
