The tree is characterized by moderate growth, reaching a height of 2 to 5 meters, and forms a broad pyramidal crown. Flowering occurs in May, which protects the variety from spring frosts. The plant prefers moist and fertile soils and is sensitive to drought.
The fruits are medium-sized, elongated conical in shape, and have smooth greenish-yellow skin with a carmine-red blush. The flesh is white, firm, and juicy, with a pronounced sweet-sour taste and an aroma of bitter almond or marzipan.
The variety is classified as winter: harvest maturity occurs in October, and consumption maturity from November to March. The fruits are used fresh, for baking, and for making juice.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
