The variety is a bud mutation of the Cripps Pink variety. The tree has medium vigor, forms a spreading crown, is capable of bearing fruit on both spurs and long shoots, and flowering begins early.

Fruits are medium to large in size and have a cylindrical shape. The skin is characterized by a yellow ground color with a pink-red blush in the form of stripes and speckles; the flesh is cream-colored and of medium firmness. The ripening period is 14–25 days earlier than that of the original Cripps Pink variety.
