The fruits are medium to large, barrel-shaped or conical, with smooth greenish-yellow skin and a red blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy and firm, suitable for fresh consumption, culinary use, and processing. The fruits are ready for harvest at the end of September; storage life is until January provided that wilting is prevented.

The tree is vigorous, with a wide crown. The variety is hardy, however, it is prone to premature fruit drop when overripe. It is characterized by susceptibility to fruit tree canker and low to medium sensitivity to scab.
