Variety description

The variety is a seedling from a cross between Hvid Vinter Pigeon and Herfst Bloem Soete varieties. The mother tree was first spotted in 1866 on the island of Funen. It is a mid-early ripening variety, with fruits maturing in the second half of September.

The tree has weak growth and develops a weeping crown with age. The variety exhibits high resistance to scab, powdery mildew, and apple canker. Yield is rated as medium to low.

The fruits are small, juicy, and used as dessert apples, as well as for brandy production. Currently, the variety is preserved in Danish genetic collections.
