The variety is a seedling found in 1890 in Denmark. The tree is triploid, flowering occurs in mid-season, and buds at the 'balloon' stage have a purple hue.

The fruit is large, flat-round conical in shape, and slightly asymmetrical. The skin is smooth, greenish-yellow with a red striped blush on 75% of the surface. The flesh is white, very juicy, moderately sweet with a slight acidity and flavor notes of grapes.

Harvest maturity occurs in the first half of September, and the consumption period lasts from October to November. Yield is average, and the fruit has a low susceptibility to bruising from impact.

The variety possesses very high resistance to apple scab, powdery mildew, and apple canker, which is confirmed by the absence of disease symptoms in conditions without chemical treatments.
