The variety was obtained as a result of the hybridization of Golden Delicious and Cox's Orange Pippin. Trees reach a height of 3–5 meters, the crown is oval, of medium density, with scaffold branches extending at an angle of 50–70 degrees. The variety is partially self-fertile; to increase yield, pollinators such as Idared, Gala, Lobo, or James Grieve are required.

Fruits are large, with a mass of 160–200 g, round-oval or oval-cylindrical in shape. The color is greenish-yellow with an orange-red blush. The flesh is light cream in color, juicy, aromatic, and sweet with a slight acidity. Under proper storage conditions, the fruits maintain quality for 5–6 months.

The variety is characterized by low susceptibility to scab and powdery mildew. At the same time, possible sensitivity to fire blight, bark and wood diseases, as well as bitter pit of the fruit is noted. There are clones and related forms of the variety that have some differences in characteristics.
