The tree is medium-sized; growth slows down after the onset of fruit bearing. The crown is conical, moderately dense, with a large number of short shoots. The variety requires cross-pollination; suitable pollinators include Alwa, Delikates, Gloster, Golden Delicious, Idared, Ligol, Lobo, and others.

Fruits are medium to large in size, round-conical, with slight ribbing. The main difference from the base variety is an intense red diffused-marbled blush. The flesh is light cream-colored and juicy. Fruits can be stored in refrigerators until February, and in controlled-atmosphere chambers until May.

The variety has low susceptibility to scab and powdery mildew, while frost hardiness is rated as medium or low. A tendency toward bitter pit and rubbery wood is noted.
