Variety UEB 5060/1, known under the commercial name Lyra, was obtained by crossing the varieties Barby and Natyra. The trees are characterized by vigorous growth, healthy development, and dark green foliage.

The fruits are large, spherical in shape, with yellow skin and a possible orange blush. The flesh is firm, juicy, and crisp. The variety matures in mid-September and is distinguished by a long storage life in a refrigerator — until April.

The variety exhibits resistance to scab and tolerance to powdery mildew, which allows it to be used in integrated and organic fruit growing.
