The apple variety «Uku» was created as a result of many years of breeding work in Estonia, aimed at obtaining a fruit crop with good taste qualities, high winter hardiness, and disease resistance.
Specialists from the Estonian University of Life Sciences, including Professor Aleksander Siimon and Kalju Kask, took part in the work to breed the variety. Detailed morphological characteristics of the fruit or a description of the tree are absent in open scientific publications.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
