The tree is characterized by a high vigor level. Flowering occurs in early May. Bearing is characterized by periodicity, with abundant harvests alternating with years of low productivity.

Fruits are of medium or small size and have a truncated conical shape with an uneven contour. The coloring is characterized by a combination of red in the upper part and green in the lower. The variety is used as raw material for the production of traditional Basque cider due to its polyphenolic profile.
