The tree is vigorous, suitable for cultivation in orchards and for forming standard trees. Fruit harvest maturity occurs in mid-October, and the consumption period lasts until December.
The fruits are medium to large in size, round, and slightly flattened. The skin is golden-yellow with a reddish blush, stripes, and patches of russeting. The flesh is yellowish, coarse-grained, becomes mealy over time, and has a sweet-and-sour taste with spicy notes.
The variety is characterized by good winter hardiness, but is susceptible to apple scab, powdery mildew, and apple tree canker. On heavy soils, the risk of bitter pit development in the fruit increases.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
