The variety belongs to the early summer group; fruits ripen in the first half of August. The tree is medium-sized with a good branch structure, begins fruiting at a young age, and is characterized by high yield. The variety is a universal pollinator for other apple trees, and it can be pollinated by such varieties as Sävstaholm.

The fruits are medium to large in size and possess a fresh sweet-and-sour taste with a delicate aroma. Upon full ripening, the flesh becomes very juicy, tender, and acquires a "transparent" appearance. The variety is considered winter-hardy. In international classification, this variety is often referred to the "Beliy Naliv" group.
