The fruits have a sweet and sour, wine-acid taste and are suitable for fresh consumption or culinary processing. The tree enters fruiting early and is characterized by good winter hardiness, but is prone to alternate bearing and is susceptible to scab.

In pomological literature, the variety is often considered close to or identical to the Papirovka variety. The variety is widely distributed in Europe and on the territory of the former USSR under various names, including Yellow Transparent and Belyi Naliv.
