The variety is an interspecific hybrid (Mandevilla ×amabilis × M. boliviensis) that develops as a vine with strong growth vigor. The shoots are thin, light green, with moderate anthocyanin coloration and extremely sparse pubescence. The leaves are arranged oppositely, have an obovate or oblong shape with an acuminate apex and cordate base; the surface is dark green, smooth, with a pronounced glossy sheen.
The flowers are tubular, large, deep dark-red in color with an orange center, and are resistant to fading in the sun. Flowering is prolonged, from spring to autumn. The plant is thermophilic, does not tolerate frost, yet is resistant to direct sunlight. It is used for vertical landscaping on supports, as well as for cultivation on terraces and balconies.
