Variety description

The plant is an intergeneric hybrid between the genera Manfreda and Agave, obtained by crossing the 'Bloodspot' cultivar and the species Agave ocahui. It forms a dense rosette 20–30 cm in height and width. The leaves are dark green with a bluish or olive tint, covered with a waxy bloom, and have purple or brown margins and sharp spines at the tips.
The cultivar is characterized as hardy and relatively fast-growing. The plant is semi-winter-hardy, capable of withstanding temperature drops down to -4...-5 °C when kept in dry soil. It is intended for decorative use in container gardening, rock gardens, and landscape compositions.
