Variety description

The plant forms a rosette of long narrow lanceolate leaves that gracefully arch outward. The dimensions of a mature plant reach 45–60 cm in height and 60–90 cm in width. The leaves are dark green with creamy-yellow margins and bright pink or red spots; in bright sunlight, the margins can take on an orange hue.
During the summer, the plant produces a flower stalk about 1.8–2.1 m tall with small greenish flowers, and the variety is not monocarpic. The plant is characterized by rapid growth and resistance to drought, deer, rabbits, and Verticillium wilt. Winter hardiness is limited to USDA zones 8–11; good drainage is required.
