The variety is mid-early in terms of spring regrowth and flowering, reaching a height of about 60 cm. The plant is positioned as a perennial form. The variety is moderately susceptible to downy mildew and the Sitona weevil, however, damage is usually not critical.
The forage value of the variety is comparable to clover due to its high protein content. The crop is used to create pastures and hayfields in grass mixtures, as well as a green manure. The plant adapts well to calcareous soils and a warm, dry climate, but tolerates waterlogging and acidic environments poorly.
The variety possesses anthelmintic properties, which are beneficial when grazing ruminants. Due to its non-aggressive growth habit, it is suitable for use as a cover crop and for overseeding under woody plantings.
