The variety is a hybrid and was bred to improve the characteristics necessary for cultivation in northern conditions, in particular to ensure frost resistance.

The plant is used as a forage crop. Scientific studies using this variety are aimed at studying biomass formation, adaptation properties to sandy and loamy soils, as well as interaction with rhizobia.
