The Ludvig variety is a forage crop adapted for cultivation in northern regions. Its economic value and productivity directly depend on the agronomic conditions of the site, in particular on proper inoculation.
During agronomic trials, the variety demonstrated a positive response to the application of dry inoculation with Rhizobium meliloti bacteria. This led to more intensive development of vegetative mass and an increase in the plants' ability to successfully overwinter.
