The variety forms upright stems and has the ability to prevent flower drop due to resistance to periodic cold snaps in the pod formation phase. At the same time, the rates of regrowth in spring and after mowing may be lower than those of a number of standard varieties.

The seed productivity of the variety is 4–5 c/ha. The variety is intended for use as a forage crop, combining the productive qualities of Medicago sativa and the hardiness of Medicago falcata.
