The variety belongs to the species Medicago sativa or Medicago varia. In the dry matter of the plant during the budding and early flowering phase, the crude protein content is more than 20%.

With adherence to technology and the presence of pollinators, seed yield under rainfed conditions reaches 4–5 c/ha, and under irrigation — up to 10 c/ha. The variety demonstrates specific timing for the completion of organogenesis stages, lagging behind the variety «Banat» by 2–3 days in the onset of individual developmental phases.
