The variety is a hybrid of Medicago sativa and Medicago falcata. In agricultural and biological research, it is used as a model object for studying morphological parameters, such as shoot weight, leaf area, and root collar diameter.

The variety is used in experiments evaluating the effect of growth regulators on plant development. It is also involved in the analysis of the chemical composition of forage crops, where it stands out for its relatively low level of saponin content.
