Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is classified as intolerant to intensive grazing and exhibits low to moderate resistance to a number of common pathogens, including Phytophthora root rot. Due to these characteristics, the variety is used to compare new breeding lines when evaluating their resistance.

The plant possesses a high level of intra-population genetic variability. The agronomic literature also mentions derivative versions of the variety, such as Apollo II and Apollo Supreme.
