The variety was bred through individual selection from the 'NS Banat OMS II' sample. Plant height at the time of mowing is about 67 cm, leaves are grey-green, flowers are light purple. The proportion of leaf mass in the yield reaches 50%.
The variety regrows quickly after mowing (up to 26.4 cm in 14 days). Protein content is about 20.1%, carotene is 44–50 mg. Intended for hay and green mass production, adapted to continental climate and suitable for cultivation both in pure stands and in grass mixtures.
Green mass yield without irrigation is 40–60 t/ha, hay yield is 5–12 t/ha. When using irrigation, green mass yield indicators can reach 80–100 t/ha.
