Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is characterized by early dormancy onset and the formation of a large number of stems. The plant was selected for use in the industrial sector as a source of lignocellulosic biomass suitable for the production of biofuels, building materials, packaging, and pulp and paper products.

This variety is one of the first among miscanthus species to be registered as a crop for biomass production, in contrast to most ornamental forms of the species.
