The Brontes variety is a result of breeding programs for creating biomass crops. Its key feature is the chemical composition of its biomass, which is adapted to the needs of the biochemical industry, distinguishing it from other hybrids used primarily in construction or anaerobic digestion.
Agronomic characteristics of the variety, such as exact height, maturity group, and disease resistance, remain insufficiently studied in the public domain. Field trials, particularly in Tanzania, indicated potential difficulties with the germination of this variety under specific conditions.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
Variety registered as early as 1 jurisdiction, data for which we do not publish: their registry licenses have not yet been verified. This section will be available upon verification.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
More 2 records protections in other jurisdictions are shown on the map above.
