The variety is a synthetic hybrid of the AAA group. Its development was aimed at finding a replacement for traditional commercial Cavendish varieties, which are highly susceptible to black and yellow sigatoka and require intensive chemical treatment.
The plant demonstrates increased resistance to banana diseases compared to classical counterparts. The fruits are smaller in size than standard commercial varieties and visually correspond to the mini-banana category. The variety underwent field trials and tests for suitability for cold storage.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
