The variety is the result of a breeding program aimed at combating black and yellow Sigatoka to reduce the need for fungicides. The hybrid was created as a potential export option, so its parameters are often compared with classic representatives of the Cavendish (AAA) group.

To determine harvest time, the concept of heat sums is used, amounting to 680 degree-days at a base temperature of 17.0 °C. Organoleptically, the fruits are distinguished by a specific aroma resembling 'Arlequin' candies. In mechanical damage tests during transport, the variety showed moderate sensitivity to bruising.
