The variety is a hybrid obtained by crossing diploid parent forms followed by colchicine treatment for chromosome doubling. In scientific literature, it most often appears in comparative studies with the Grande Naine variety of the Cavendish group, where fruit growth and the chemical composition of the pulp and peel are analyzed.
It possesses partial resistance to a number of common pathogens, including the causative agents of black leaf streak and Sigatoka disease. The variety is included in research programs to evaluate resistance to the fungal disease Fusarium TR4, while exact agronomic parameters and commercial indicators remain the subject of further study.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
