Variety description

The plant forms racemose inflorescences about 5 cm long. The flowers are colored bright blue, sometimes with a white border, and have a light sweet fragrance. The plant height is 20–25 cm, the leaves are narrow, linear, and of corresponding length.

Flowering occurs from March to May. The variety is characterized as frost-resistant and disease-resistant. Suitable for landscaping borders, rock gardens, group plantings, as well as for growing in containers and for cut flowers.

It is recommended to plant bulbs in the fall in September or October. The plant prefers sunny areas or light partial shade with well-drained soils, such as humus loams.
