The plant is a compact perennial with narrow dark green linear leaves. The inflorescences are formed into dense elongated racemes of small bell-shaped flowers. The coloration is bright blue, a deep royal or azure shade, with a white border on the edge of each petal. The plant height varies from 15 to 25 cm, with inflorescences being larger in size than those of standard varieties.

The variety is early-flowering, with a flowering period covering the time from March to May. The plant possesses high winter hardiness (USDA zone 3–5) and is characterized by being low-maintenance, capable of natural spreading on a site. The variety is intended for use for decorative purposes, including the creation of borders, rock gardens, flower carpets, and pot culture.
