Variety description

The plant is a dwarf variety about 20 cm tall with narrow glaucous-green leaves. The double bright yellow flowers have a pleasant aroma, and their inner petals have a ruffled shape. Each peduncle bears one flower.

The variety is early-flowering; blooming occurs from March to April and lasts about 4 weeks. The plant is well-suited for planting in rock gardens, borders, containers, and also for cut flowers. The variety is reliable and undemanding, and it naturalizes well in sunny or semi-shaded areas with well-drained soil.

The plant's bulbs are toxic, which reduces interest in them from rodents.
