Variety description

A miniature plant 10–20 cm tall with narrow, grassy leaves. The flowers have a hoop-petticoat shape with a very large, wide, funnel-shaped corona and small, narrow perianth segments. The color is pure white, sometimes with a greenish-yellow tint upon opening, and possesses a sweet fragrance.

Flowering is early, occurring from March to April. The variety is characterized as frost-hardy (USDA zones 4–5) and requires good soil drainage to prevent bulb rot. Suitable for planting in rockeries, alpine gardens, and container arrangements.
