Variety description

The plant forms a dense rounded mound 45–75 cm wide. The foliage is small, fragrant, grey-green, with serrated edges. Small blue-violet flowers are gathered in spike-like inflorescences, the feature of which is purple calyces.
The variety blooms from late spring to early autumn. It possesses good frost resistance, tolerance to drought, and resistance to damage by deer and rabbits. The plant maintains its shape well, does not lodge, and is suitable for borders, rock gardens, container planting, and use as a ground cover crop.
