Variety description

The plant forms dense cushion-shaped clumps 35–45 cm in height and up to 75–90 cm in width. The foliage is fragrant, grayish-green or glaucous-green in color. The flowers, lavender-blue or purple-violet in shade, are gathered into spicate inflorescences.
Flowering lasts from late spring to early autumn. The variety is a sterile hybrid, resistant to drought and lodging. Under conditions of excessive moisture or poor air circulation, susceptibility to root rot and powdery mildew may occur.
