Variety description

The plant forms a dense, neat bush 40–51 cm high and 60–90 cm wide. The leaves are small, gray-green, pubescent, and emit a lemon-mint aroma when rubbed. Small sky-blue or blue-violet flowers with smoky-purple calyces are gathered in upright inflorescences. The flowers are sterile and do not produce seeds.
The variety blooms from early summer to autumn; a second wave of flowering is possible with pruning. The plant is photophilous, develops well in well-drained soils, and has high winter hardiness (USDA zone 4). It is characterized by strong stems and resistance to diseases, pests, deer, and rabbits.
