Barley 1317 variety belongs to the group of large-leaf Burley type tobaccos. The variety was obtained within the framework of breeding programs aimed at creating high-quality tobacco lines.
In scientific literature, the variety appears in studies devoted to the analysis of the chemical composition of tobacco seeds, in particular, the composition of lipids, fatty acids, sterols, and tocopherols in seed oil. Detailed agrotechnical and morphological characteristics of the variety are absent in open publications.
